Today Robbins,IL: August 28, 2010, many supporters gather at the ribbon cutting ceremony of the Robbins History Museum. Among the supports were Cook County Board President Todd Stroger, longtime Mayor Irene Brodie, and the Honorable Tuskegee Airmen. Robbins, IL, the nation’s oldest self-governing municipality, soil is enriched with the legacies of great African American men and women who have made a drastic change in the African American struggles since the early 1900’s. Robbins produced individuals such as, The Tuskegee Airmen, actress Nichelle Nicoles, Olympic hurdler Willie L. May, businessman SB Fuller, singer Jan Bradley, NBA All-star and Olympian Dwyane T.
